It has been the longest three days of my life but I’m in SYDNEY AUSTRALIA. All though, I do have to say — it doesn’t really feel like Sydney. I have yet to see the opera house or the water but I have been bored to tears in many a orientation lecture and I have met the most AMAZING people.
In the last few hours, I have ate pizza and beer with 121 students, signed up for a crazy 2 day surfing trip, explored an Australian supermarket and got food (BARELY), and just hung out and bonded with people from all over the US.
In the last few days, I’ve slightly conquered jet lag, ate the best toast I’ve ever had and the worst coffee, got my cell phone and finally internet (they blocked Facebook!! — now we have to pay for it), played games with my floor, toasted beer in an awesome bar, and just have been all around having the time of my life.
My roommates are all strangers which at first was a bit intimidating but now…I love it. I love that my roommates are all people I’ve never met before! In fact, they are all people from Uni San Francisco! Fellow blondes….
There are so many adventures to be had it’s all getting started! I had to update y’all and I’ll be back with so many pictures and awesome times to be had.
